Prices are historical bottle quotes, not live offers. Longevity & projection are editorial estimates.
Here is how to read the atlas.

ATARAXIA

01

Know what you are comparing.

Every quote belongs to a specific bottle size and concentration. Prices were researched on September 19, 2026 and are not live. Missing prices stay missing.

02

A profile, not a promise.

Scent descriptions, seasonal fits, longevity, and projection are editorial interpretations, not firsthand wear tests or measured averages. Your experience can differ.

03

Sample before you commit.

Save a shortlist, compare up to three fragrances, and keep your own trial notes. Your saved list stays in this browser; no account, tracker, or email form.

What do the ratings mean?
Season fit runs from 1 (poor fit) to 5 (excellent fit). Projection runs from 1 (skin-close) to 5 (very strong); it is not a distance or a time claim. Originality runs from 1 (familiar) to 5 (experimental), and everyday ease from 1 (challenging) to 5 (easy to place). These are editorial judgments, not quality or attractiveness scores. Night is an occasion, not a fifth season.
Where does the information come from?
The supplied Fragrance Atlas workbook remains the source for the original 72 profiles. This edition adds 100 editorial profiles; their current bottle prices and source links were intentionally left unverified rather than invented. Original source links were carried over and have not been re-verified for this website. Retailer links are shown only after an approved affiliate configuration is installed; pricing remains a dated reference rather than a live offer. Category names are informal; for example, some designer fragrances appear under everyday value.
Do the avant-garde fragrances contain actual bodily fluids?
Names such as blood, gasoline, or spinal fluid describe artistic accords and concepts; they are not proof of literal ingredients. Published notes are scent vocabulary, not ingredient lists. Extreme concepts are best explored cautiously as samples, with consideration for other people in shared spaces.
What is stored, and how can I take it with me?
The shortlist and your notes are saved locally in your browser, not uploaded to a server. Saving depends on browser storage being available; private browsing, file URLs, or clearing browser data may affect persistence. Export your list as CSV to keep a backup. Testing notes are optional. The shortlist does not collect sample costs or calculate a sample budget. All bottle visuals are original illustrations, not the brands' packaging.
